Pastor John S. Shim
Personal Philosophy of Ministry
The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. The amazing grace of Christ's atoning death for a sinner like me compels me to waste my life on the altar of His glory. As Apostle Paul said in Galatians 2:20, my satisfaction in life comes from the "Union and Communion" I have with my Lord, Jesus Christ, whom I love.
The Lord granted me the grace to teach and admonish the saints. My greatest act of service to the church will be manifested in "equipping of the saints for the work of service" (Ephesians 4:11-13). It is my earnest desire to "present every man perfect in Christ" (Colossians 1:28). Soli Deo Gloria!
