Awana
Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and comes from II Timothy 2:15, which says:
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. The goal of the Awana ministry is to teach children who Jesus is, help them learn the Word of God and train them to apply the Bible's teachings to their lives. It is our desire to partner with parents in training children to know, love and serve God.
Awana starts on September 9th, 6:45PM-8:30PM, and meets every Wednesday evening until May 2010 (see calendar below). Children ages pre-kindergarten through 6th grade (age groups will increase in the future) are welcome to attend.
